LCL FAQ

How is LCL priced?

LCL is priced per cubic metre (CBM) or per revenue tonne, whichever is greater, with origin and destination charges itemised in the quote.

Is there a minimum LCL shipment?

A minimum charge usually applies (typically 1 CBM). Send us your CBM and weight and we will confirm.

When does LCL make more sense than FCL?

As a rule of thumb, below roughly 13–15 CBM LCL is often cheaper; above that a 20GP may be better value. We will compare both if you ask.

Can you handle dangerous goods in LCL?

Some DG classes can be accepted subject to the consolidator. Tick DG on the quote form and include the SDS.

Which currency are rates quoted in?

Indicative rates are shown in USD. Your formal quote confirms currency and payment terms.
